The HildeBook is the thesis project for Jonathan Hildebrand, and the culmination of my academic studies in communication theory and graphic design. This two-part book addresses both form and content as it applies to design theory and practice.
This section outlines several different communication theories and how they could be applied to graphic design.
This section features samples of my own work and how those same theories shape my design.
My design approach focuses heavily on developing communication strategies, not just aesthetics. I believe that design is the synthesis of both form and content, and that communication should have both these elements.
